Valsangiacomo Inverso Godello 2024 is produced by Cherubino Valsangiacomo, a family winery based in Chiva. This small production wine comes from a single dry farmed vineyard parcel in Siete Aguas, within the Valencia region, where altitude and Mediterranean influences create balanced ripening conditions. The estate follows environmentally respectful, sustainable viticulture. The vineyard is planted on poor, well draining soils that contribute to the wine’s freshness, mineral character and precision, and the wine is suitable for vegan consumers.
Made from 100% Godello, the 2024 vintage is fermented in stainless steel with lees contact to build texture and complexity. It is then aged for approximately two months in large French oak barrels, allowing subtle integration without overpowering the varietal character. The wine displays a pale yellow colour with green hints, offering aromas of white flowers, citrus and stone fruit alongside a mineral edge. The palate is smooth yet vibrant, with fresh acidity and a long, clean finish. It pairs well with seafood, grilled fish, light poultry dishes and vegetable based cuisine.
