A mixture of local varieties: Carricante, Catarratto, Grecanico, Inzolia and Minnella, Etna Bianco is a field blend with Carricante dominating the with roughly 65%. All from old vines. An amazing island white wine, stylish, confident, elegant just like a ballet dancer. Deviously drinkable, complex with all sorts of unique aromas of wet stone floral notes. Salty, rich minerals combined with brilliant freshness. Fish, meat or fowl, are all fine, if very gently cooked. It loves seafood, particularly over pasta: after all, it is Sicilian.
