Description

Claus Preisinger is one of Austria's most respected natural wine producers, based in Gols in the Burgenland region near Lake Neusiedl. Since establishing his winery in 2000, he has gained an international reputation for crafting expressive wines with minimal intervention, allowing each vineyard to speak for itself. His vineyards are farmed according to certified biodynamic and organic principles on limestone and calcareous soils, benefiting from the warm Pannonian climate. Fermentations are carried out with indigenous yeasts and minimal sulphur is used, producing wines that are vibrant, authentic and vegan friendly.

Puszta Blanca 2025 is a blend of Pinot Blanc, Grüner Veltliner and Muskat Ottonel, fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts before ageing in concrete eggs and seasoned oak barrels to build texture while preserving freshness. Bottled with minimal intervention, the wine is lively and aromatic, offering notes of crisp apple, white peach, citrus zest and delicate blossom with a subtle mineral edge. Fresh, energetic and beautifully balanced, it pairs wonderfully with seafood, salads, grilled vegetables, soft cheeses and light Mediterranean dishes, and is best enjoyed lightly chilled.
