PSI 2022 Ribera Del Duero

The winery Domino de Pingus was established in 1995 by Peter Sisseck. In order to preserve the integrity of the vines flavors, no preservatives have ever been used and the vines have been cultivated using the en vaso system, where the wine is grown to support itself without stakes or ties. In order to help save older vines and help protect grape producers, this wine is the product of the PSI project. Beginning in 2006 the project has been highly successful and encourages producers to use organic and biodynamic methods to help their vines meet their fullest potential.

This rich and deep ruby wine offers deep red cherries on the nose and mild amount of spice paired with toasted almonds. On the palate its beautifully balanced, with a velvety texture and robust tannins leaving a long finish. Pairs perfectly with red meats, hearty stews or a glass on its own.
