With the name Vertente meaning "hillside", this wine certainly shows off the hillside vineyards of the Douro Valley. Made with grapes grown from vines up to 80 years old, this complex red blend maintains a remarkable freshness. With red fruits and forest on the nose, the palate is juicy and mineral with notes of plum. Medium bodied with soft tannins, and an elegant finish.
