Produced by Nicolas Réau at Clos des Treilles in Saint-Georges-sur-Layon, Anjou, Attention Cabernet Blanc perfectly reflects the originality and craftsmanship of one of the Loire Valley’s most respected artisan winemakers. Before dedicating himself to wine, Nicolas Réau was both a rugby player and a jazz pianist, bringing the same creativity and individuality to his wines that defined his earlier careers. Since founding Clos des Treilles, he has built a cult following for producing organically certified, low-intervention wines that express the personality of their vineyards with honesty and precision. The estate’s vineyards are rooted in the schist-rich soils of Anjou, where the Loire’s temperate climate and long growing season preserve freshness, minerality and aromatic purity.

Despite its name, Attention Cabernet Blanc is made from 100% Cabernet Franc. Produced as a Blanc de Noirs, the grapes are gently direct-pressed with virtually no skin contact, resulting in an elegant white wine that reveals a completely different side of this classic Loire variety. Vinified with Nicolas Réau’s signature low-intervention approach, the wine displays vibrant aromas of white peach, pear and citrus, complemented by delicate floral notes, fresh herbs and a subtle hint of redcurrant skin that hints at its origin. The palate is crisp, textured and beautifully balanced, combining lively acidity with a distinctive mineral character and a long, refreshing finish. A wonderfully original Loire white, it pairs beautifully with seafood, goat’s cheese, sushi, asparagus and fresh summer cuisine, while offering a fascinating expression of Cabernet Franc unlike any other.
