Napheri Goruli Mtsvane 2024
Napheri Goruli Mtsvane 2024 is a dry white/amber Georgian wine made from 100% Goruli Mtsvane, an indigenous grape grown in the Kartli region, notably around Kaspi and the surrounding valleys, where well drained limestone and marl soils with a continental climate produce bright, aromatic fruit with natural freshness. Goruli Mtsvane is known for its floral and citrus character and vivid acidity.
The 2024 vintage is fermented in traditional Georgian qvevri clay vessels with indigenous wild yeasts, including around 10% skin contact without stems during maceration, then aged on skins in qvevri for about three months before further ageing in stainless steel for three months, producing an amber tinged wine with expressive aromas of green apple, citrus and fresh white fruits, medium body and pleasant acidity. Serve well chilled at around 8–12?°C with seafood, grilled fish, fresh salads, herb seasoned poultry or soft cheeses for an authentic Georgian pairing.
