Marthe Henry Bourgogne Chardonnay Sans Sulfites 2022

Marthe Henry is a small Burgundy négociant and winemaking project focused on producing authentic wines with minimal intervention and a strong sense of place. Working with carefully selected vineyards in Burgundy, the estate highlights purity, freshness and the natural expression of Chardonnay. The vineyards are farmed with respect for the environment, using sustainable principles where possible. The Bourgogne Chardonnay fruit comes from limestone and clay soils typical of Burgundy, which provide excellent drainage and contribute freshness, minerality and elegance to the wines.

Marthe Henry Bourgogne Chardonnay Sans Sulfites 2022 is made from 100% Chardonnay with no added sulphur during the winemaking process. The grapes are gently pressed before spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by ageing in neutral vessels to preserve the purity and vibrancy of the fruit. Bright aromas of lemon, white peach, pear and floral notes are complemented by a subtle mineral character. Fresh, textured and precise, it pairs beautifully with oysters, grilled fish, shellfish, roast poultry, creamy dishes and goat’s cheese.
