Manolesakis Estate Exis Red 2024 comes from Manolesakis Estate, a family-run winery in the Hadriani vineyards of the Drama sub-region in Macedonia, northern Greece. Founded by George Manolesakis with his son Stavros, the estate began planting vines in 1989 and built its own facility in the late 1990s, blending tradition with modern technology in viticulture and winemaking. The vines sit at 200–300 metres above sea level on clay-rich soils with good drainage and a semi-continental climate that combines warm, dry summers with cool winters, ideal for Greek varietals. The estate focuses on sustainable farming, and this wine is suitable for vegan consumers.

The 2024 Exis Red is a dry blend of 55% Moschomavro and 45% Limnio, both indigenous Greek grape varieties that express the character of the region. Fermentation is carried out under controlled temperatures to bring out bright fruit and balanced structure, with around two months’ ageing on fine lees to add body and complexity before bottling. The wine displays a medium ruby colour with aromas of cherry, plum, red berries and gentle spice, supported by soft tannins and refreshing acidity. Serve slightly chilled for a lighter style with grilled meats, lamb, pasta with rich sauces or hard cheeses to complement its fresh, elegant profile.
