Long Meadow Ranch is a family owned estate founded by Ted, Laddie and Chris Hall, with roots in California farming dating back to the late 19th century. The winery operates across Napa Valley and Anderson Valley, with a strong commitment to organic farming and full organic certification across its vineyards. In Anderson Valley, a cool climate region in Mendocino County, vineyards benefit from Pacific Ocean influence, morning fog and significant diurnal shifts. The soils are typically well drained loam, gravel and sandstone, supporting slow ripening and aromatic complexity. The 2019 vintage was marked by a long, even growing season, producing wines of balance, freshness and refined structure.

Long Meadow Ranch Anderson Valley Chardonnay 2019 is made from 100% Chardonnay, reflecting the region’s cool climate character. Grapes are hand harvested and gently pressed before fermentation, often using native yeasts, to preserve purity and site expression. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for around 10 to 12 months, with a portion of new oak adding subtle richness and texture. It shows aromas of citrus, green apple and white blossom with hints of toasted almond and spice. The palate is fresh and balanced with bright acidity and a creamy texture. It pairs beautifully with roast chicken, grilled seafood, creamy pasta dishes and soft cheeses.
