Description

Les Deux Moulins is a Loire Valley wine project overseen by winemaker Frédéric Moreau, working with the Cave Cooperative in Brissac. The wines are selected to offer excellent quality at an accessible price, focusing on traditional Loire varieties and an uncomplicated, fruit-driven style. This 2025 Sauvignon Blanc is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from vineyards between Anjou and Tours, where gravel and schist soils contribute freshness and a subtle mineral character. The vineyards are farmed under France's HVE sustainable certification.

Fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, the winemaking preserves the grape's natural freshness and aromatic character while retaining enough weight and structure on the palate. Expect lively aromas of lime, grapefruit, gooseberry and elderflower, followed by crisp green apple, citrus and a delicate herbal edge. Bright and refreshing, with a lovely line of acidity and a clean, mineral finish, this is a particularly good-value alternative to more expensive Loire Sauvignon Blancs. Enjoy as an aperitif or alongside fresh seafood, goat's cheese, salads, grilled fish or light summer dishes.
