Lan Rioja Reserva 2018 Magnum

Bodegas LAN is a well established producer in Rioja Alta, founded in 1972 and named after the three provinces of the denomination: Logroño, Álava and Navarra. LAN Rioja Reserva 2018 Magnum is typically composed of around 90% Tempranillo with 10% Graciano. The wine is fermented in stainless steel before ageing for approximately 18 months in a mix of American and French oak barrels, followed by further bottle ageing prior to release. The 2018 vintage was balanced and fresh, producing elegant wines with good ageing potential. The style leans towards a modern interpretation of Rioja, combining ripe fruit with well integrated oak. It shows aromas of red and black fruits, vanilla and spice, with a smooth, structured palate. It pairs well with roast lamb, grilled meats and mature cheeses.
