This wine comes from A Tale of 2 Mountains, a modern Armenian winery that highlights the country’s native varietals and high altitude vineyards. The grapes are sourced from volcanic and limestone-rich soils at elevations of 1,200–1,500 metres, which provide a dramatic diurnal temperature shift that helps preserve acidity and enhance aromatics. The winery employs sustainable viticulture practices, focusing on minimal intervention and preserving the terroir.

The 2021 vintage is a single-varietal wine (Areni Noir) fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel and partially in neutral oak barrels. The wine is aged for 10-12 months to develop texture and complexity. Expect red cherry, cranberry, and subtle floral notes on the nose, with fine tannins, balanced acidity, and a mineral-laced finish.
