

Kamara Pure Nimbus Russus 2019
Deep ruby hue with vivid violet reflections. The bouquet is remarkably expressive, showcasing a concentrated core of ripe forest fruits—blackberry, blueberry, and plum—layered with nuances of liquorice, eucalyptus, tapenade, and a pronounced grind of cracked black pepper.
On the palate, the wine delivers a complex spice profile dominated by black and green peppercorns, cinnamon stick, and grated nutmeg, seamlessly integrated with earthy undertones of tilled loam and a subtle thread of bittersweet dark chocolate. The tannins are supple and well-rounded, a result of 12 months’ maturation in seasoned oak, contributing to a harmonious, velvety mouthfeel.
Separate vinification of Xinomavro, Merlot and Limnio. The grapes are half destemed and half full bunches. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts for 25 days, no oenological substances added. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The produced wines are mixed and aged for 12 months in old barrels. Battonage sur lie for 3 months. No protein stabilization, no fining, no filtration, only tartaric stabilization during the cold days of winter. No sulphites added.
