Granuaile Irish Gin is produced by Grace O’Malley Spirits and takes its inspiration from the legendary 16th-century Irish pirate queen, Gráinne Mhaol. The brand reflects her bold, maritime legacy and connection to the wild Atlantic shoreline of County Mayo, their philosophy centres on heritage, storytelling, and capturing the spirit of the Atlantic landscape in liquid form.
Distilled in copper pot stills, Granuaile Irish Gin is made using a blend of 14 botanicals native to the west of Ireland, including wild thyme, red clover, blackthorn, fraughan, rock samphire and heather. The result is a fresh, floral gin with soft maritime character and layered herbal complexity. Ideal in a classic gin and tonic with a light tonic water, or in citrus-led cocktails, it pairs well with grapefruit, lemon, rosemary, or tonic garnished with fresh herbs or a citrus twist.
