Glenallachie 9 YR Fino Sherry Finish

GlenAllachie Distillery is located in the heart of Speyside, Scotland, founded in 1967, later revitalised in 2017 under master distiller Billy Walker. Set beneath Ben Rinnes, the distillery benefits from soft Highland water drawn from surrounding springs and a cool, continental climate ideal for slow whisky maturation.

The GlenAllachie 9 Year Old Fino Sherry Finish is initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred into Fino sherry casks for additional refinement. This finishing imparts a distinctive dry, nutty character, with aromas of green apple, toasted almonds and subtle saline notes. The palate is elegant and layered, offering honeyed malt, citrus peel and gentle oak spice, leading to a crisp, dry finish. It pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, Iberian ham, smoked salmon or mature hard cheeses.
