Fubá Cachaça was created by Brazilian brothers Rafael and Cassiano Agapito, who set out to craft an authentic, small-batch cachaça using traditional methods alongside modern sustainable practices. The spirit is produced in Brazil on estates in the state of São Paulo, where sugarcane has thrived for centuries in fertile soils and a warm tropical climate. Cane is grown by a network of local farmers working cooperatively, with harvesting and pressing carried out quickly to preserve freshness and reflect the region’s distinctive terroir.
Fubá Cachaça is made from freshly pressed sugarcane juice, fermented into a light cane wine before being double distilled in copper pot stills. The spirit is typically bottled unaged to preserve its bright, grassy character and natural purity, with no added sugar. The result is a clean and aromatic cachaça showing notes of fresh cane, green banana, almond and subtle liquorice with a lightly peppery finish. It is ideal for a classic Caipirinha with lime and sugar, and pairs well with tropical fruits, grilled seafood or light Brazilian dishes.
