Enosophia is the premium range of Feravino, a historic estate in Slavonia in eastern Croatia, where viticulture dates back centuries. The vineyards lie on gentle slopes around Fericanci, rooted in mineral-rich clay soils formed from the ancient Pannonian Sea. The continental climate of warm days and cool nights allows Frankovka to develop freshness, structure and expressive regional character.
Made from 100% Frankovka, also known as Blaufränkisch, the wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and aged for several months in large oak vessels and tank to soften tannins and add complexity. It shows flavours of sour cherry, blackberry and spice, with fresh acidity and smooth texture. It pairs well with roast pork, duck, grilled meats and mushroom dishes.
