Domaine Bruno Sorg Pinot Noir 2023

Domaine Bruno Sorg is a family run estate in Alsace, founded in 1965 and now managed by François Sorg and his team. The vineyards, located around Eguisheim and Voegtlinshoffen are sustainably farmed with hand harvested fruit and traditional viticulture, avoiding synthetic treatments where possible. Soils include granite, sandstone and limestone gravels.

The Pinot Noir 2023 is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown on those granite and sandstone soils of the Alsace region. After gentle fermentation in temperature controlled vats using native yeasts, the wine is aged on its fine lees for several months to bolster texture and complexity. It offers aromas of strawberry, red cherry and a hint of cracked pepper, with fresh acidity and soft tannins. Ideal with roast turkey, coq au vin? or grilled salmon.
