Domaine Agnes Paquet Auxey-Duresses 'Les Hoz' 2020

Domaine Agnès Paquet is a family-owned estate in Burgundy with a history spanning several generations, specialising in both red and white wines from carefully chosen plots. The Auxey-Duresses 'Les Hoz' Rouge 2020 comes from clay-limestone and marl soils that provide structure and elegance to the wines. Vineyards are farmed sustainably with some parcels following organic practices.

The 2020 'Les Hoz' Rouge is made from 100% Pinot Noir, hand-harvested and fermented in small vats with gentle extraction. Ageing occurs in French oak barrels for approximately twelve months, a portion of which is new, enhancing depth while preserving finesse. The wine displays red cherry, raspberry, subtle spice and earthy undertones, with silky tannins and balanced acidity. It pairs well with roast poultry, pork, charcuterie or medium-aged cheeses.
