Chateau Les Millaux 2023

Château Les Millaux is a family run estate located in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux and has been managed by the Castel family for several generations. The property is farmed sustainably, following organic principles, though not formally certified. The vineyards are planted on clay limestone soils with a mix of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, reflecting the classic Bordeaux terroir. The estate’s approach focuses on biodiversity, minimal intervention and respect for the environment. The wines are vegan-friendly, made without animal derived fining agents.

The Château Les Millaux 2023 is predominantly Merlot blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, sourced from 30-year-old vines. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats to preserve fruit purity, followed by several months of ageing in vats before bottling. The wine offers aromas of black cherry, plum, and spice, with supple tannins and fresh acidity. It pairs perfectly with roast lamb, grilled aubergine or mushroom risotto, and is ideal for enjoying young while retaining potential for short-term cellaring.
