This Polish dry red wine is rich, vibrant, and boasts a deep, intense ruby color. The nose is dominated by the aromas of forest fruits—ripe, sweet berries and juicy blackberries—beautifully complemented by hints of pepper, tobacco, and dried autumn leaves.

Extended barrel aging imparts delicate notes of clove and licorice, adding complexity without overshadowing the fresh fruit character. On the palate, the wine is smooth and fruit-forward, with subtle barrel-induced sweetness that remains balanced by a refreshing acidity and solid structure.

Fermented in wooden barrels with native yeasts and left unfiltered, this wine benefits from a unique maturation process. It spends 11 months aging in a combination of French, Slavic, and Hungarian oak barrels, followed by 6 months in stainless steel tanks and an additional 7 months in bottle. The result is a delicate and intriguing wine with a layered profile and a nuanced finish.

The vineyards of Kamil Barczentewicz is situated in the picturesque Malopolska Vistula Gorge in the Lublin province. Here, the exceptional terroir—a blend of mineral-rich limestone soils and a distinct microclimate—fosters the production of grapes with exceptional character. The 12-hectare estate, with its south-facing slopes, benefits from meticulous, eco-conscious farming, resulting in wines of remarkable complexity and finesse.
