Barczentewicz is a family-run estate based in Dobre, near Kazimierz Dolny in eastern Poland, where vineyards are planted on a limestone hill with south-western exposure. The proximity of the Vistula River moderates the continental climate, while limestone-marl and sandy-clay soils contribute freshness and mineral definition.
Chardonnay Beton 2023 is made from 100% Chardonnay, fermented and aged in a concrete egg to preserve purity and texture while allowing gentle oxygen exchange. The wine matures on its lees to build depth and balance, without oak influence.It shows aromas of orchard fruit, white flowers and subtle citrus, with a rounded mouthfeel, mineral tension and fresh acidity. It pairs well with grilled fish, roast poultry, creamy vegetable dishes and mild cheeses.
