Amaro Montenegro 1885 is produced in Bologna, Italy, and was created by Stanislao Cobianchi in the late 19th century. Inspired by his travels and fascination with botanicals, Cobianchi developed a distinctive herbal liqueur that reflects Italian tradition and craftsmanship. The name honours Princess Elena of Montenegro, later Queen of Italy, symbolising elegance and cultural heritage at the heart of the brand.

Amaro Montenegro is crafted using a carefully guarded blend of botanicals, including citrus peels, spices, and aromatic herbs. Through a combination of maceration, distillation, and precise blending, it achieves a balanced bittersweet profile. The palate reveals notes of orange zest, floral herbs, and gentle spice.
