Albert de Conti Petillant Naturel 2023
Albert de Conti is a family owned estate in Saint-Julien-d’Eymet, in the Bergerac region of southwest France, with a history rooted in traditional local winemaking. The estate is committed to organic farming and preserving the natural balance of its vineyards, allowing the character of the terroir and native grape varieties to shine. The vineyards are planted on calcareous molasse, clay limestone and fossil rich limestone soils, which contribute freshness, minerality and complexity to the wines.
Albert de Conti Pétillant Naturel 2023 is a blend of 70% Sauvignon and 30% Sémillon. Made using the méthode ancestrale, the wine undergoes direct pressing and partial fermentation in stainless steel tanks before being bottled to allow natural effervescence to develop. Produced without added sulphur, it offers bright aromas of citrus, green apple, pear and white flowers with a fresh, lively palate and delicate bubbles. Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with oysters, seafood, fresh cheeses, light salads, charcuterie and summer dishes.
