Produced by Maison Saint Aix in the Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellation, AIX Rosé is a refined expression of Provence’s iconic rosé style, combining elegance, freshness and Mediterranean character. Founded in 2009 by Danish entrepreneur Hans-Henrik Jørgensen, Maison Saint Aix has become one of Provence’s most recognised rosé producers, with winemaker Matt Gant playing a key role in developing the estate’s distinctive style. The vineyards are located around Jouques, north of Aix-en-Provence, at approximately 400 metres above sea level, where altitude, limestone and clay soils, intense sunshine and the cooling influence of the Mistral winds create ideal conditions for producing grapes with vibrant aromas and refreshing acidity. The estate follows responsible vineyard practices, with a focus on preserving the natural balance of the surrounding Provençal landscape.
Made from a traditional Provence blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, AIX Côtes de Provence Rosé captures the elegance and sophistication that have made the region’s rosés famous worldwide. The grapes are carefully selected and gently pressed to preserve the purity and freshness of the fruit, resulting in a beautifully pale rosé with delicate aromas of peach, apricot, grapefruit and wild strawberry, complemented by floral notes and subtle Provençal herbal nuances. On the palate, it is crisp, graceful and refreshing, with bright acidity, a silky texture and a clean mineral finish. A versatile and stylish rosé, AIX is perfect as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, Mediterranean dishes, salads and summer dining.
