Carl Koch Spatburgunder 2023

The nose is very typical for Spatburgunder with lots of berries, cassis and violets. Also with time it has developed a hint of spices like licorice, mint and a cola-like character. Nice colour and silky tannins. Very round and elegant in the mouth, with a good length. Try it with duck breast, wild mushroom risotto or soft cheeses like gorgonzola and brie.
