Ziereisen Weisserburgunder 2021

The grapes are picked by hand and sorted by hand in the winery. Then spontaneous fermentation happens in large traditional wooden barrels. The wine remains in barrels for 18 months before bottling. The nose is wonderfully clear, very straight and cleanly defined. Green pear, Granny Smith apple and green apricot mingle with aromas of hay and lemon tea. The mouth is juicy and charming, with a nice balance of crisp green-yellow fruit.
