Ziereisen Schulen S22 2022

Schulen is a plot of land that stands on Jurassic limestone. The grapes were destemmed and pressed after 6 weeks of maceration, then aged for over 22 months in 20% new wood. The bouquet is dark and spicy, with black cherry and some mulberry fruit. Immediately spicy on the palate and with considerable depth. Fully ripe cherries and wild raspberries rush through with a little bit of air. These fruit aromas, underpinned by nuances of tannin peaks and earthy notes, last for a very long time.
