Tenuta Bellafonte Pomontino Montefalco Rosso 2019

Montefalco Rosso ‘Pomontino’ comes from whole-berries fermented Sangiovese (80%) and Sagrantino, aged one year in large Slovanian oak casks and 6 months in bottle. Native yeasts, neither fined nor filtered, the nose is enticing and elegant, pomegranate, redcurrant, sour cherry and blackberry. Lively and elegant palate of red cherry and orange plus the fruits found on the nose, it closes with fine tannins and a long finish.
