Domaine Simon Bize is an historic family estate in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Burgundy, founded in 1880 and now managed by the Bize family with deep respect for traditional viticulture. The domaine farms approximately 22 hectares on clay-limestone soils typical of the Côte de Beaune, working sustainably with careful canopy management and minimal intervention.

The Savigny-lès-Beaune Blanc 2020 is made from 100 % Chardonnay, sourced from several parcels planted on Savigny’s limestone and clay soils. Fermentation and ageing follow the domaine’s classic style, with time spent on lees in oak barrels and careful integration of fruit and texture. Medium-bodied and refined, it shows aromas of green apple, pear, citrus blossom and subtle minerality, balanced by fresh acidity and a creamy texture. A versatile white, it pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, poultry in creamy sauces, and light pasta dishes, reflecting Burgundian elegance and balance.
