Santa Julia El Zorrito Naranjo 2025

Bodega Santa Julia is a family owned winery of the Zuccardi family, established in Mendoza in 1950. El Zorrito comes from Santa Julia’s 100% organically certified Maipú vineyard, around 40 kilometres from Mendoza city. This warm, semi-arid part of Mendoza has mineral rich alluvial soils and marked day-night temperature variation, helping retain freshness in the grapes. Santa Julia farms sustainably, using compost, mechanical weed control, no herbicides and water recycling while encouraging biodiversity.

Santa Julia El Zorrito Naranjo 2025 is a 100% Chardonnay orange wine, hand harvested and fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in contact with the skins. The wine undergoes approximately 45 days of post fermentation skin maceration, developing its deep golden-orange colour, fine tannins and textured character. No sulphites are added and it is bottled without filtration, with no extended oak ageing. Floral aromas lead into tropical white fruit, orange peel and subtle spice, while lively acidity balances the gently tannic, silky palate. Excellent with empanadas, grilled seafood, roast poultry, spicy vegetarian dishes and soft cheeses.
