Prieler Ried Goldberg 2019

Weingut Prieler is an Austrian winery located in Schützen am Gebirge, Burgenland, within the Leithaberg DAC region. The estate was founded in 1972 and is renowned for its commitment to organic viticulture. The vineyard sits on steep, south-facing slopes with limestone and mica-schist soils, benefiting from warm days, cool nights and proximity to Lake Neusiedl, creating ideal conditions for Blaufränkisch, creating grapes with concentration, elegance and minerality.

The Ried Goldberg Blaufränkisch 2019 is a single-vineyard wine aged for 26 months in large oak barrels. 100% Blaufränkisch. It offers aromas of red cherry, blackberry, and hints of nougat and suede. The wine is medium full bodied and on the palate it presents a harmonious balance of acidity and silky tannins, with a long-lasting finish. This wine pairs well with grilled meats, lamb dishes or hearty stews.
