Poderi Cellario is a family-run winery in Carrù, on the western edge of Piemonte's Langhe hills, where Fausto and Cinzia Cellario continue generations of traditional winemaking. The estate is farmed organically with a strong focus on biodiversity and sustainability, with vineyards planted on limestone, clay and sandy soils that reflect the diverse terroir of the region. The continental climate supports slow, balanced ripening, helping preserve freshness and aromatic precision. The winery follows a low intervention philosophy with spontaneous fermentations and minimal additions, and the wines are generally considered vegan friendly.
Poderi Cellario E! Orange is a skin contact white wine made from Nascetta and Moscato. The grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and around 10 days of skin maceration before maturation in large 100 hectolitre cement vats, which helps preserve purity of fruit while adding gentle texture and complexity. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulphur. It shows expressive aromas of orange peel, apricot, white flowers and Mediterranean herbs with subtle tea like and savoury notes. Fresh yet textured, it pairs beautifully with antipasti, seafood, grilled vegetables, spicy dishes and soft cheeses, and is best enjoyed lightly chilled.
