Plantation 3 Stars Silver Rum is created by Maison Ferrand, blending traditional Caribbean rums from Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad. Each island contributes a different character: Barbados provides richness and balance, Trinidad brings finesse, while Jamaica adds depth and structure. The blend reflects the distinct climates and terroirs of these sugar-producing islands, where tropical conditions and fertile soils support sugar-cane cultivation.
This clear white rum combines unaged rums from Barbados and Jamaica with aged Trinidadian and Jamaican components, including rum matured for up to 12 years. Pot still and column still distillates are blended before the rum is carbon filtered to remove colour while retaining flavour and complexity. The nose shows sugar cane, banana and vanilla, followed by a smooth palate of tropical fruit, spice and light chocolate, with a clean, refreshing finish. Particularly suited to Daiquiris, Mojitos and other classic rum cocktails.
