Pizzorno Don Prospero Tannat Cabernet Franc 2021

Here Tannat, the flagship grape of Uruguay, is blended with Cabernet Franc achieving a more aromatic yet full-bodied red wine with a nod to Bordeaux. Each variety is vinified separately - Tannat is fermented and matured in concrete vats and Cabernet Franc is aged for 6 months in French oak. Expect a fresh wine with herbaceous notes of Cabernet Franc plus dark plums, chocolate and cedar from Tannat. With refined yet firm tannins, this wine will keep you asking for some kind of protein.
