Pizzorno Don Prospero Tannat 2023

Tannat is the flagship grape of Uruguay, having its roots in Madiran, France. Here, in the region of Canelones, Tannat achieves perfect tannic maturity, thanks to fertile soils rich in clay and the moderate Atlantic weather. This honest wine has the signature Tannat flavours of dark plums, cedar and spices, with rich yet velvety tannins and a smooth finish. A very versatile and gastronomic wine that pairs well with almost everything, from cold cuts and appetizers to roasted meats and barbecues. All of that with just 12% abv.
