Pardas Collita Roja 2016

The red Sumoll 2016 Collita Roja was produced with grapes from five or six old vineyards planted by their grandparents in the north of Penedès in the villages of Torrelavit, Sant Llorenç d'Hortons, Piera and La Llacuna. In 2016, they selected the grapes from a centenary plot in Ponnou and another one planted in 1949 in Can Canals on sandy soils. It fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in barriques, concrete and stainless steel for six months. This is perfumed and aromatic, with violets and blood orange, spicy and smoky.
