Otterbank Messers - Chardonnay Barrel Aged Wild Ale

This beautifully balanced wild ale was created using a grist of heritage barley and oats. These were mashed and transferred to Chardonnay barrels where the beer fermented and aged for 3 and a half years with a wild yeast captured in the Lisnagra Woods in Muff, Co. Donegal.

Sweet and dry with a clean and gentle tartness, expect flavours of white grape, vanilla fudge, and a hint of orange peel in the finish.
