Ocho Tequila Plata 50cl

The Tequila Ocho come from a brand rooted in the long standing tequila traditions of Jalisco, Mexico. Founded by master distiller Carlos Camarena in collaboration with tequila ambassador Tomas Estes, Ocho pioneered single estate, single field tequila to showcase terroir. The Blue Weber agave are grown in the Highlands of Jalisco (Los Altos), where mineral rich, iron laden soils and cool nights encourage aromatic intensity and sugar development. The estate uses traditional, additive free methods and works sustainably with field specific practices.

Ocho Tequila Plata is made from 100% mature Blue Weber agave, harvested at peak ripeness after around seven to ten years in the field. The piñas are slow cooked in traditional stone and brick ovens, crushed with a roller mill and fermented openly in wooden tanks using natural spring water and indigenous yeasts. The wash is double distilled, first in stainless steel and then in copper pot stills, producing an unaged, clear blanco tequila that highlights the agave’s pure character. Expect bright aromas of cooked agave, citrus zest and fresh herbs, with a vibrant palate of sweet agave, peppery spice and minerality. Serve neat, with a twist of lime, or pair grilled seafood and fresh salads that accentuate its crisp, herbal freshness.
