The family estate Domaine Grosbois is located in the Chinon wine region, in the heart of the Loire Valley. The wine cellar is an old 15th century farmhouse converted into a winery. Due to the loss of 80% of his harvest in the Loire in 2016, Nicolas Grosbois decides to bring his “mother’s cuisine” on holiday to Gaillac, where he bought grapes from a friend and the result has become a sucess ever since. A “glou-glou” wine, as he calls it, from the Duras, Braucol, Merlot and Syrah varieties harvested and vinified in the southwest. Lots of ripe red fruit, purple fruit, spices, black pepper. Ripe, juicy, soft and spicy.
