Produced by Medici Ermete in Reggio Emilia, Lambrusco Reggiano DOC Secco comes from one of the families most responsible for the modern revival of Lambrusco. Founded in 1890 and now in its fifth generation, Medici Ermete helped transform the reputation of the region’s wines by focusing on vineyard quality, estate farming and authentic regional character. The family farms its vineyards organically across the clay-rich soils of Emilia-Romagna, where the temperate climate and long viticultural tradition provide ideal conditions for Lambrusco. While remaining deeply rooted in local traditions, Medici Ermete has become an international reference point for dry, food-friendly Lambrusco that showcases the freshness and vibrancy of the region.

Made from Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco Marani, the wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks before its secondary fermentation, preserving the purity of the fruit and its lively sparkle. Bright ruby red in colour, it offers aromas of fresh blackberry, red cherry and violet, with a fine, persistent mousse. The palate is dry, juicy and refreshing, balancing vibrant fruit with crisp acidity and gentle tannins.
