Makers Mark Bills Recipe No. 46
Maker’s Mark is produced at the historic Star Hill Farm Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, where the Samuels family established the brand in 1953. Renowned for its handcrafted approach, the distillery uses locally sourced soft red winter wheat in place of rye, creating a smoother bourbon profile.
Maker’s Mark 46 is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky created by finishing fully matured Maker’s Mark with ten seared French oak staves inserted into the barrel for additional ageing. The whisky offers aromas of vanilla, baking spice and toasted oak, followed by rich notes of caramel, dark fruit and cinnamon on a velvety palate. The finish is long and warming, with layers of oak spice and sweetness.
