Maison Tardieu Laurent is a small, artisan négociant éleveur operating in the Bandol AOC of Provence, working with old vine plots around Le Castellet. The vineyards sit on limestone clay soils that promote good drainage, slow ripening and concentrated grapes. The estate pursues low intervention, sustainable practices.

The 2021 vintage is composed of roughly 95% Mourvèdre and 5% Grenache, from vines over 50 years old. Grapes are 100% destemmed, fermented and aged 24 months in vintageold French oak barrels, then bottled without fining or filtration. The wine presents dense dark berry and black olive aromas, with notes of garrigue herbs, peppery spice and subtle tobacco. On the palate it is full bodied, structured, with firm ripe tannins and a savoury, mineral finish. It pairs beautifully with roast lamb or game, grilled meats or herb rich Mediterranean dishes.
