Maison Lou Dumont was founded in 2000 by Japanese born winemaker Koji Nakada and his wife, Jae Hwa Park, with a vision to produce authentic, terroir-driven Burgundies that respect tradition and nature. Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, the house sources grapes from organically and sustainably farmed vineyards across Burgundy. Lou Dumont’s philosophy emphasises minimal intervention and balance, and its wines are vegan-friendly, crafted without animal derived fining agents.

The Bourgogne Rouge 2022 is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on limestone and clay soils in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, the wine is aged for around 12 months in oak barrels, 20% of which are new. It reveals elegant aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle spice, with silky tannins and refreshing acidity. Perfect alongside roast duck, mushroom dishes or soft cheeses, this wine captures the finesse and purity of classic Burgundy.
