Magoutes Xinomavro 2020

This refined, elegant Xinomavro is crafted by a small boutique producer from Siatista in north-western Macedonia. Diamantis is known for reviving this ancient, but forgotten wine region. The grapes for Diamantis Xinomavro are sourced from old vines, grown on rocky limestone soils at altitudes up to 950 metres above sea level. The wine opens up with captivating aromas of currants and cherries, sweet spices and delicate herbal notes. Powerful tannins and ample freshness suggest that the wine will age gracefully in the bottle.
