Magoutes Moschomavro 2021

The Magoutes winery, run by Dimitris Diamantis, is located in the Siatista region of Naoussa, in northern Greece. Their focus is on producing terroir-driven wines from indigenous vines. Moschomavro is a rare indigenous grape which became almst extinct by the 1970s. The Diamantis family take credit for reviving this grape, which today is named amongst the most exciting varieties in Greece. Elegant and juicy, this wine has rich flavours of red fruits and mediterranean herbs, with well integrated tannins and an almost mineral finish.
