Luis Seabra Granito Cru Dao Branco 2021

Luis Seabra made his name as winemaker for Niepoort, before leaving to set up his own project in 2013. Seabra’s idea was to focus on creating minimal intervention wines that respect the age and nature of the vines grown that can reflect the soils and terrain of where they grow. Some of the older wines on the property have slender arms that have twisted freely over time, providing a suprising plant more flexibile to new weather occurences.

A pale yellow in color and on the nose offers scents of with lemon, meadow grass, subtle lemon blossom, verbena, and crushed stone. On the palate its dry with higher acidity with a medium body. Pairs perfectly with fish dishes, seafood and lighter appetizers.
