Lopez de Haro Rosado 2024

Produced in the Rioja region of northern Spain, López de Haro Rosado comes from Bodega Classica, part of the Vintae group, based in San Vicente de la Sonsierra. The vineyards lie in Rioja Alta, where Atlantic and Mediterranean influences combine to deliver slow, balanced ripening with naturally fresh acidity. Soils are predominantly clay-limestone with stony alluvial deposits, providing good drainage and structure. Fruit is sourced from carefully selected parcels, including older vines, and the estate works with sustainably farmed vineyards.

Made from a 50/50 blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel to preserve freshness and delicate aromatics. The wine shows expressive aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and red cherry alongside subtle floral notes and a touch of citrus. The palate is dry, crisp and vibrant with bright acidity, juicy red berry fruit and a clean, refreshing finish. It pairs particularly well with tapas, grilled seafood, cured meats, salads and light Mediterranean dishes.
