Le Glanon Chardonnay 2022

Le Glanon Chardonnay 2022 is produced by Fruitière Vinicole de Pupillin, a cooperative founded in 1909 in the Jura village of Pupillin. Local growers established the cellar to preserve traditional Jura winemaking and today contribute fruit from sustainably farmed vineyards across Arbois and Côtes du Jura. The Chardonnay vines grow on limestone and marl soils in a cool continental climate, producing wines with freshness and mineral character. Vineyards are managed with minimal intervention.

The 2022 vintage is fermented with indigenous yeasts in large wooden foudres before undergoing full malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for around 12 months in wood using the traditional ouillé method, where barrels are topped up to preserve freshness rather than oxidative character. Aromas of pear, citrus and white flowers combine with subtle nuttiness and wet stone notes. The palate is textured and vibrant with acidity and a finish Serve with Comté, trout or chicken.
